Association of Newnum Old Brentwoods

The Association was founded in 1935 by senior boys prior to leaving school, encouraged by the Housemaster George Everington who became the first President of the Association after the war. Newnum House closed in 1981 and the Association currently has 57 members who pay a yearly subscription of £5.00. The Association meets annually for the A.G.M. where the President, Secretary, Treasurer and Committee are elected, followed afterwards by dinner with partners and friends. Members are kept up-dated by a newsletter edited by Tony Daffey. Former members of Newnum House are invited to join the Association and attend the annual A.G.M. and dinner, which is held at the Old Brentwoods’ Clubhouse every September.
