Many Old Brentwoods go on to take up prestigious careers after they leave the school. Old Brentwoods are found in every walk of life, from City Business, to the Arts, Broadcasting, the Church, the Armed Forces, Politics and Sports. As part of the school's Millennium celebrations, it published a book called, "The Best of Days?" which gives a collection of personal memories by some of the school's better known alumni. These include, Sir Hardy Amies, Sir Robin Day, Douglas Adams, Griff Rhys Jones, Noel Edmonds, and Frank Lampard junior. Other notable Old Brentwoods include Stewart Robson (professional footballer with Arsenal Football Club), Eric Peters, (Rugby Union, who has been capped for Scotland), Peter Stothard (former editor of The Times), Peter Allen (journalist and Radio 5 broadcaster) and Peter Barker (squash player) and, of course, Jodie Marsh (!).

The latest Old Brentwoods to hit the headlines include Jack Straw, the Justice Minister, who, but for Gordon Brown's "recovery", was in the frame to be our first P.M.; Charles Bean, the Deputy Governor of the Bank of England and sometime O.B. Rugby Club scrum half; the recently elevated Sir Michael Snyder, Chairman of the Policy and Resources Committee of the City of London Corporation and Sir David Eady, High Court Judge, and protector of Max. Moseley's sexual privacy.
