Netball
The Netball Club plays matches during the week at New Hall School in Chelmsford, beginning at either 7.30 or 8.30p.m. Kit is provided after the kind sponsorship of Old Brentwood's. We are trying to organise training, but sourcing facilities with exterior lighting is difficult, so information on this will follow.
The winter season runs from September to March and the summer season runs from April to June / July. Players have ranged in age from teens to 40's and are of mixed ability. Old Brentwood's A has just been promoted to Division 3 after being undefeated in Division 4. We currently have a strong squad, but we are always keen to recruit new members and if the demand is there, perhaps field a second team.
The club plays primarily for fun and fitness, but we are hugely competitive and aim to continue our success from over past years. The club provides an opportunity for sportswomen to be actively involved in the Old Brentwood's Society and we aim to support the Clubhouse by organising Socials and events throughout the season.
